(b. 1986) I am a software engineer and composer based in Phialdelphia.
My musical work focuses especially on live electronics, fixed media, and piano music, often involving audio code in the programming language
SuperCollider as well as proprietary digital synths
and my own recordings. As a composer, I am especially interested in feelings of immersion, suspension,
ineffability, and otherworldliness. I have degrees in composition from Eastman School of Music and the
University of Pennsylvania.
As an engineer, I write software for the
digital therapeutics startup
MedRhythms.
We are developing the world's first prescription music therapy device, which
helps chronic stroke and Parkinson's patients improve walking and mobility through music.
